Hilcorp takes pride in investing in the communities where our employees live and work, including in the Kenai Peninsula on the southern coast of Alaska. Each year, Hilcorp sponsors and supports multiple community service events and volunteer opportunities in the Kenai Peninsula.
The Hilcorp Burger Night, benefitting the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), ensures we invest in the people of these communities on a personal level. Used as a community hub, the Anchor Point VFW hosts many events open to the public throughout the year, and Hilcorp supports the community by sponsoring a burger cook-out each year. In October 2023, Hilcorp employees served over 200 people in the Alaskan community of Anchor Point as Hilcorp hosted the evening full of family, fun, and food.
Hilcorp is a proud annual sponsor of the Kenai Senior Center Thanksgiving Lunch and a Hilcorp volunteer team assists with setting up the event, prepping food, serving meals, and handing out gifts to the seniors.
At Hilcorp Night at the Kenai River Brown Bears Hockey Game, Hilcorp’s sponsorship benefits the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank (KPFB) and provides free admission to fans bring nonperishable food items to support the food drive for KPFB. In 2023, over 5,000 lbs. of food were donated on Hilcorp night!
